Early Musicianship
This class is a wonderful gateway to the skills classes. We will focus on major works in the repertoire such as Swan Lake, The Moldau, Carmen, Hansel and Gretel, etc. Through the study of these works, concepts such as mood, dynamics, rhythm, basic form, and history will be touched upon. Activities include listening, movement, discussion, drawing, games, clapping rhythms and short singing exercises. This is a great class for younger students.
