In the past year:

 

• We added 3 new group classes to our offerings: Musical Theatre Scenes, MOrchestra I, and Adult Group Guitar.

 

• We had an exciting first summer of "Junior MO Show," our musical theatre training program for middle school students -- a unique opportunity for students to be a part of the writing and character development process of a musical theatre production.

 

• We navigated our first large rent increase for our beautiful space.

 

• We awarded more than double the amount of scholarships in 2023-24 when compared to 2022-23.​

• We had another successful production of MO Show at the Devonshire Theatre and celebrated our 14th year of MO Show.

 

• The Young Women's Composition Competition officially became an international competition.

 

• We partnered with the Evanston Children's Choir to host their "Story Choir" rehearsals and performances at The Musical Offering.

• Our faculty presented a number of exceptional recitals and lecture recitals, celebrating the music of women, lesser known composers or works, as well as familiar favorites (always free of charge for MO students and faculty).​
